MIVI – PROCESS VISCOMETER
Our MIVI sensor for measuring viscosity in fluids has been used in industries all over the world for more than 40 years.
The vibration amplitude varies according to the viscosity of the prodcut in which the rod is immersed.
The active part of the sensor, a vibrating rod held in oscillation at resonance frequency, is driven by constant electircal power.
Typical applications that require hygienic and safe installations:
– Chemical: polymers, plastics, resins, and gels
– Printing and coating: inks, paints, lacquers, and varnishes
– Food and beverage: milk, chees, juices, and sauses
– Refineries: diesel, gasoline, heavy fuel, and bitumen
– Pharmaceutics and cosmetics: gels, capsules, and shampoos
