Om Archigas
Archigas is a pioneering German company based in Rüsselsheim that specializes in microsensor (MEMS) technology for gas analysis, with a strong focus on thermal conductivity detection (TCD) systems. Their screw-in analyser, the TCD3000 SiA, offers ultra-fast response times (< 30 ms), a measuring range from just a few ppm up to 100 vol%, and reliable operation even under humid conditions and pressures up to 200 bar. These compact, low-maintenance devices are designed for demanding hydrogen industry applications and deliver cost, labour, and space savings.
In collaboration with RheinMain University of Applied Sciences (HSRM), the company founded by physicists Illya Kaufman and Wladimir Barskyi has developed innovative H2 gas analysis systems that are characterised by their particularly fast reaction speed, accuracy, stability, moisture resistance and compact design. The characteristics of this new generation of measurement technology are thus consistently geared towards the specific requirements of the hydrogen industry with its high demands on the analysis of H2 concentration and purity.

It is regarded as the energy carrier of the future: H2 is literally ‘the stuff dreams are made of’.
